Our Club Field is off of Gilman Springs Rd., adjacent to Mystic Lake, and just a few miles south of the 60 Freeway.
Our Paved Runway is 600 feet long by 50 feet wide. We have 230 feet
of shaded Pits, and a Building with a Refrigerator, Microwave
Oven, and a attached restroom with a flush toilet. This is a private club, Spectators are always welcome, Guests are allowed to fly at the field a maximum of three (3) times as non-members
and must have a Current AMA Membership card.
The best time to visit our Field is on Saturday or
Sunday mornings, when there is sure to be several members there.
To join
our Club, a person must be sponsored by one of our current members. If a
candidate does not know anyone in our club, he or she is advised to come to the
Field on a few weekends and "hang out" with members who are there. After making
friends with one of our members, and letting him get to know you well enough to
vouch for you, he would probably be willing to sponsor you. After getting a
Sponsor, you and he need to fill out the Application to join the club. After
receipt of your completed Application you and your Sponsor would attend one of
our meetings where attendees would be given the opportunity to "vote you in".
After being "voted in", you would then join the club. There is a one-time fee of
$200 to join the club, and our dues are currently $50 per year.
Our meetings are held at the Club Field on the last Saturday
of each month.

others at the Flying Field. This assistance may include checking out a model
for proper operation, helping troubleshoot a malfunction with a model, test
flying a model, or helping a modeler learn to fly. When a member is asked for such
assistance, and provides it, in no case will that member be held responsible
for, or assume any liability for any mishap that may occur while providing such
assistance. Members accepting such
assistance shall do so at their own risk.
